Reasons for abnormal oil consumption of Liugong excavator parts engine

1. Excessive wear of the piston, piston ring and cylinder liner will cause the oil to flow into the incineration chamber, causing the oil consumption to increase sharply. When the wear gap between the gas ring of the piston and the cylinder wall exceeds 20% of the normal value, its oil consumption will be increased by more than 2 times.

2. The wear of connecting rod bearing bush, crankshaft bearing bush or oil pump will cause the cooperation gap between bearing bush and shaft diameter to be too large, which will increase the oil leakage, reduce the pump oil pressure and accelerate the oil consumption.

3. When the thermal deformation of the cylinder liner exceeds a certain limit, the piston and piston ring will not be able to fully get used to the deformation of the cylinder liner, and there will be a large oil channel in some parts, causing the oil to enter the incineration chamber and burn, resulting in abnormal oil consumption.

4. Dust and blockage on the radiator fins of the diesel engine water radiator, abrasion or poor work of the water pump, excessive scale or blockage in the waterway, etc., will cause poor heat dissipation of the diesel engine and abnormal oil consumption.

5. Blocking of the air filter will cause the inlet pressure of the incinerator to drop, and the negative pressure will be too large, and the oil will go up the incinerator, resulting in a sharp increase in oil consumption.

6. Other reasons. Including: piston strain, connecting rod bearing, crankshaft bearing ablation; valve guide sealing ring damage, failure; oil leakage.
