Reasons for failure of hydraulic parts of excavator parts
(1) Hydraulic system structure
If the pipelines of the hydraulic system, control valves and other components have too narrow passages and too many elbows, the temperature of the hydraulic oil will increase, the impact force will increase, and bubbles will simply be generated in the hydraulic oil, thereby causing cavitation in the hydraulic cylinder.
(2) Hydraulic cylinder parts information
If the material used to make the hydraulic cylinder has better strength, toughness and corrosion resistance, its anti-cavitation ability is better; otherwise, it is prone to cavitation. The uniformity of other data organizations also has a greater impact on cavitation. The more uneven the data organization, the more cavitation occurs where the strength is weak and the corrosion resistance is low.
(3) Hydraulic oil quality
The quality of hydraulic oil is an important factor in whether the hydraulic cylinder has cavitation. Hydraulic oil will inevitably have an impact with valves, pipelines, etc. during work. If the hydraulic oil has poor anti-foaming properties, it will easily generate foam, and then cause cavitation in hydraulic cylinders and other parts. If the frequency of hydraulic oil pressure changes too fast or too high, it will also promote the formation of bubbles and accelerate the bursting speed of bubbles. For example, at the oil inlet and return ports of a hydraulic cylinder, because the frequency of pressure changes is relatively high, the degree of cavitation is relatively higher than other parts.
?(4) Production and repair
The influence of hydraulic cylinder installation or repair quality on its cavitation cannot be underestimated. If the hydraulic system is not fully exhausted during installation or repair, it will cause gas in the system. Under the effect of high temperature and high pressure, the hydraulic cylinder will cavitation.
