Selection of cutting parameters for bearing sleeve processing
Selection of the amount of knife
When roughing, if the rigidity of the process system and the power of the machine tool allow, try to take a larger back-cutting amount to reduce the number of feeds; when finishing, to ensure the machining accuracy and surface roughness requirements of the parts. According to the quality requirements of the processed surface, tool material, workpiece material and machine function, refer to the cutting manual or related material selection: rough turning outer outline αp=2mm, semi-finish turning outer outline αp=0.75mm, finishing turning αp=0.4mm; Rough boring αp=1mm, fine boring αp=0.3mm.
Selection of feed
When roughing, according to the processing material, tool holder size, workpiece diameter and the determined amount of back tool, refer to the cutting amount manual or related materials combined with the machine tool operation manual, select: rough turning f=0.2mm/r, rough boring f =0.15mm/r; During semi-finishing and finishing, according to the surface roughness requirements, according to the workpiece material, the radius of the tool tip and the cutting speed, select: semi-finishing f=0.15mm/r, finishing f=0.1 mm/r, fine boring f=0.1mm/r.
Selection of spindle speed
According to the determined back-cutting amount, feed rate, workpiece and tool material durability, refer to the cutting rate manual or related materials, and select the cutting speed Vc according to the table, rough turning Vc=120m/min, semi-finishing turning Vc=130m/ min, fine turning Vc=140m/min, rough boring Vc=60m/min, fine boring Vc=70m/min, and then use formula (2-5) to calculate the spindle speed.
Vc =πdn/1000 (2-5)
Where: n is the rotational speed of the workpiece or tool (r/min)
Vc is the cutting speed (m/min)
d is the rotation diameter of the workpiece or tool corresponding to the selected point of the cutting edge (mm)
Combined with practical experience, the final determined spindle speed is: rough machining n=600 r/min, semi-finish turning n=800 r/min, fine turning n=1000 r/min, fine boring n=700 r/min, threading n=500r/min.
